Candelilla wax is a wax derived from the leaves of the small Candelilla shrub native to northern Mexico and the southwestern United States
Benefits?
Candelilla wax is non comedogenic so it won't clog pores, and is safe to use on oily skin types. It also contains a rich amount of Vitamin A - which promotes cell regeneration and is touted as being beneficial to sun spots and aging skin.

Candelilla wax has a very high melting point, is firm, shines, binds oils well, adheres well and feels pleasant on the skin. When warm, it smells like beeswax and is even edible. Candelilla wax is therefore an ideal addition to cosmetics which become more stable due to the wax. Candelilla wax is also used: in the food industry, in industrially produced pre-baked products, in chewing gum, etc.
